Thermal insulation performance
Windows are essential parts to improve thermal insulation performance in your house.
Thermal insulation performance is the essential part for your comfortable daily life.
It is important to improve the performance of windows for that.
As windows have only about one-tenth thermal insulation performance of walls,
warm heat can escape from windows. Windows may be a weak point of your house,
in the aspect of improving thermal insulation performance.
Montage windows provide excellent thermal insulation performance by a combination use of Double Glazing Glass,
and PVC frames with thermal conductivity of less than one-thousandth of that of aluminum.
In addition, Montage provides approximately four times thermal insulation performance of an aluminum sash,
keeping a room cooler in summer and warmer in winter, leading significant cost saving of air-conditioning
At the same time, Montage can reduce the risk of unpleasant condensation in winter causing mold and mites,
so that it can ensure comfortable and healthy life.
Comparison of air conditioning costs
Excellent thermal insulation performance enhances air conditioning efficiency,
resulting in annual cost reduction of JPY 67,000 in comparison with aluminum sashes (single plate glass).
Eco and budget friendly Montage supports your comfortable daily life.
※Costs are calculated on the assumption of heat volume coming into and releasing only through windows.
Low-E Double Glazing Glass providing excellent thermal insulation performance
We have introduced Montage's original Low-E Pair Glass for detached houses to provide better thermal insulation and heat blocking performance (excluding fire protection window/triple glass specification). Its hollow layer is filled with argon gas for better thermal insulation performance as before.
The hollow layer has been expanded to 16mm, when 3mm glass is used, to provide the best thermal insulation effect of reducing heat conduction more than ever.
Warm edge spacers (low thermal conductive spacer) are used for the Double Glazing Glass to minimize condensation around windows.
We also use PVC lattices to seek for improvement in thermal insulation performance (excluding uniquely shaped windows).
Montage keeps the room warm, as proved by the comparison chart of the window surface temperature by thermography.
A combination use of PVC sashes and Low-E Double Glazing Glass is barely affected by outside air,
while transparent Double Glazing Glass cannot stop heat inside from escaping due to temperature of outside air.
Even aluminum-resin composite sashes used for window frames conduct cold air causing condensation.
